Do not forget to breathe....

The future looks good.  I remember one time while contemplating the Universe, an epiphany came to me. Every decision that we make now effects Our future. While every decision we have made in the past, has put us exactly where we are now. Based on that formulaic process, things are finally starting  to look better. I have come down a long road, this road of life, and have made lots of equally good and bad decisions. Finally I am making better choices, and theses better choices mean a better quality of life. Jesus said in John 10:10 "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." (KJV)

What does this mean to have life more abundantly? another version says " until life is overflowing"  So not just an average life, but to actually enjoy your  life, to be filled with peace in all that you do!  I do not know about you, but I want that kind of life. I want to be glad in all that I do, knowing that what ever I decide, I did what was  right for me.  We can only be responsible for Our "own " actions, and thus, We reap our own outcomes. I can honestly say that at this point in my life, I have no regrets. Every decision I have made has molded me into the person that I am today. But I know it can get better. I know in my heart of hearts, that life can have joy in abundance, until it is overflowing with goodness and peace .....every day.      Do not forget to breathe.

You are here...

Across the Universe. Or as scientist propose, the Multiverse .The multiverse (or meta-universe, metaverse) is the hypothetical set of multiple possible universes (including the one unique universe we are pretty sure we consistently inhabit) that together comprise everything that physically exists: the entirety of space and time, all forms of matter, energy and momentum, and the physical laws and constants that govern them. The term was coined in 1895 by the American philosopher and psychologist William James.[1] The various universes within the multiverse are sometimes called parallel universes. . It has been brought to my attention recently that the Universe as we know it is flat. By taking a beam of light and  shooting it in one direction 45 degrees and then shooting a a beam of light the opposite direction 45 degrees, scientist are able to calculate the distance in between the two beams of light to determine if the universe as we know it is curved or ( spherical) however the data proves the contrary. One author explains it it this way " Why does the Universe look flat? This was one of the perplexing questions in cosmology for a long time. Today, most astronomers believe in the theory of inflation (and there are pieces of evidence supporting this). According to this theory, the Universe underwent exponential expansion about 10-30 seconds after the Big Bang. The result was that something of the size of an atom expanded to the size of the solar system by the end of the inflationary epoch.
If this were the case, irrespective of the original geometry of the Universe, it would appear flat to us. The analogy will be to take a balloon; we can easily see it to be rounded; now blow the balloon to a very large volume and then put a small ant on its surface. The ant will think that it is on a sheet; it cannot detect the curvature. To put this in another way, the distances that we probe are way too small to detect any possible curvature in the Universe."  We are all living in this great expanse, this great void, and honestly, it's all a bit trippy. I mean how can one not view how coincidental it is that we (Humans)  are living in the exact conditions  necessary to support life? I have heard our Earth being described as having the Goldi lock of all conditions, not too cold, not too hot, but just right. I believe, God is that expanse. So what are we doing here anyway? Are we just another hypothetical calculation, simply just existing to exist, because the right symbiotic conditions are available to support life? If you have ever doubted yourself and the existence of said deity,  just take a  look around. We can all agree we are here for short amount of time, in the middle of this place, called space, just floating, spinning,  waiting for answers. But the answers just aren't there. This is my life....

This is my life. Although it's not as grandiose as i thought it would be at 35, there is still some charm involved. The sun is still shining ( although it's hotter and brighter than ever before) the laugh lines on my face grow ever deeper with every passing day ( must mean I laugh a lot) The words don't pour out like they used to ( I must be running out of things to say) On a positive note: I have someone really special in my life that I really care about ( and she must care about me too to put up with my crankiness) I gained 30 pounds! I know where did it all go? (  the answer is my belly :) I am playing music with a wonderful group of guys (couldn't do it with  out you brothers) My children are healthy and loved. I have a wonderful family (Mom, Mark. Dad ..Love ya!)

So although I might not be exactly where I had hoped,  I have so much to be thankful for!
then when it's all said and done I can put my feet up and relax. Like Joyce Meyers says " I'm not where I want to be in life, but thank God I am not where I was!

Today will be different...Sanctified


Sanctification is an ancient concept widespread among religions that refers to anything blessed or set apart for special purposes, from totem poles to temple vessels, to the change brought about in a human believer. The word sanctification (see -ification) refers to the act or process of making sacred or setting apart as special. To sanctify is literally “to set apart for special use or purpose,” figuratively “to make holy or sacred,”

Today I will take the time to breathe the air/ Today I will smile more/ Today I will treat my body better/ Today I will Love/ Today I will give/ Today is here/ Yesterday is gone/ Today I will help someone/ Today I will put my feet in the grass/ Today I will be thankful/ Today I will create/ Today I will dance/ Today I will manifest positivity. Today I will pray/ Today I will hug more/ Today is going to be wonderful.

Almost there....

Today I woke up wondering what was in store for the day. I had my coffee, and performed my regular morning rituals. The music is calling to me. Even gray skies cannot keep the urge at bay. There is something that is quite enticing about the anticipation of creationlike something new that you know is out there, like a city you have never visited, like food that you never tasted. It is waiting patiently, for you, dormant until you decide to rustle it's feathers, to beckon for a kiss, of that sweet nectar known  as music. Let's just skip to the part where the magic happens.
